Explained by Dr. Flo Watt MRCPsych (Consultant Psychiatrist) - The formulation is predominantly Valerian oil based (from Eastern Europe), with small inclusions of Vetiver (from Indonesia), Sweet Basil, (from Europe), and Clary Sage (from France) essential oils.
- Many Valerian preparations are too potent and can sedate rather than calm. Pet Remedy is low concentration and the diffuser delivers a constant slow release, which is very kind and gentle in its effect on the metabolism. Likewise for the calming sprays and wipes which are water based.

* The 200ml calming spray can be sprayed onto Bandanas, pet bedding, travel bedding, vet bed - it starts to work immediately and can be used for travel in the car, use on bedding whilst staying away on holiday, going to dog shows. You can also spray onto your hands and gently wipe over the animals muzzle , under chin and top of chest to calm the animal.
* The calming wipes can be used to wipe directly over your dogs muzzle. Use the eco-friendly wipe in the same way as you would with the calming spray by gentle rubbing around muzzle, under chin and top of chest of your pet (including horses!). You can also rub on your fingers before handling an anxious pet. It can be used to wipe down surfaces such as an examination or grooming bench top. You can also tie to a cat basket or dog crate when travelling to vet or place on bedding in home and car!
* Medium size bandana - 830 x 250mm H (32.5” x 10” H). Luxury bandana comes with 15ml Pet Remedy Calming Spray. It has a reversible 1cm Polkadot design and is made from 100% Cotton. The bandana is uniquely shaped for a perfect fit and is great to use in stressful situations, simply spray Pet Remedy a couple of times on bandana - the calming effect will start to help instantly.
It will last up to 4 hours and you can repeat as often as necessary. The 15ml bottle gives up to 120 sprays applications.
* Boredom Buster Foraging Kit - Hide your dog’s favourite treats in the pockets to encourage their natural instinct to forage, eat and rest. The concentration needed to hunt for treats will be tiring for your dog leading to the need for rest or sleep after a period of stimulation and enrichment.
Simply select your dog’s favourite food treats and hide one treat in each pocket of the forager. There are two sizes of pocket to provide different levels of difficulty for a range of breeds with varying head sizes and nose shapes. Apply 2 or 3 pumps of the calming spray directly onto the forager. Lay the forager on the floor for your dog to enjoy! •
